This is the first-ever issue of Marvel Comics, making it the origin of the Marvel Universe. Issued in October 1939, this comic features the first appearance of both human torch and Submariner Marvel. The comics quickly sold out 80,000 copies, which prompted a second printing. Today, Marvel Comics is one of the biggest companies in the world. In March 2022, a copy of this comic book was sold for a staggering 2.42 million at Comic Connect.
